With this new initiative, I turn to the anterior point of facial development, inspired by the early insights of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. The PremaxProject aims to bridge Goethe’s observations with modern discoveries in embryology, neuroscience, immunology, and facial development. My hope is that this endeavor will not take as long as Goethe needed for his Faust.
The project also builds upon my advanced studies in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Oxford more than a year ago, combined with a unique scholarly foundation: the collections of the Anna Amalia Library in Weimar, the State Library in Berlin, the Casa di Goethe in Rome, and the Deichman Library in Oslo. Together, these resources form the intellectual and cultural backdrop for a project that will likely accompany me for years to come.
